About David L.Watkins

I was born and reared in Detroit, Michigan. My mother's favourite phrase was, "Without the love of books, the richest man is poor." Those words have resonated with me. I have loved books since my childhood. I decided to share my love of reading and writing by becoming an author of children's books. It is my wish that all children develop a passion for reading.
I have spoken at various schools, churches and community events. I am available for workshops on writing or lettering.
